 Hi parents!   A few dates to keep in mind:  Catholic Schools Week is January 30th-February 4th     - Monday and Thursday of that week the kids will need to bring sack lunches     - Friday Feb 4th will be the Grandparents' Day Mass     - 8th grade parents be on the look out for the Catholic Schools Week newspaper insert in the Creston Newspaper     - 6th grade parents be looking on social media for your child's ad during that week. :)  - February 9th: 6th grade has Mass with All Day Preschool  - March 5th is the St. Malachy Auction. This year our basket idea is charcuterie board. We sent home a letter with the information. Possible items could be: utensils, cutting board, crackers, meats and cheeses, olives, dried fruits, jams/jellies, etc... Money donations are welcomed.

 Happy New Year!!  Dates to remember:  January 14th-Spirit Day January 31st-Feb 1-4: Catholic Schools Week     Here are the themes for Catholic Schools Week:: Spirit Day, Dress as an adult, Dress as the letter of your name, Dress in your favorite sports team, and Mass attire for Grandparents Mass Also for Catholic Schools Week:: 8th grade parents be on the look out for the Catholic Schools Week newspaper insert that week! 8th grade: In social studies they are just getting into the causes of WWI. They are going to learn about the war before moving into the roaring 20's which will be so fun! In religion today they are learning about Epiphany and will be writing a modern day Epiphany.  7th grade: In social studies they are starting the Revolutionary War. In religion they are learning about the Passion of Christ.  6th grade: In social studies we are getting into ancient civilization by learning about the Stone Age before getting to Mesopotamia.
