Hi parents! This week the 8th grade went to SWCC for career day. I think they all really enjoyed the tour and were surprised at what SWCC can offer them in high school and after. I took a few pictures, of course, so enjoy! Dates to remember: Feb. 26- Ash Wednesday Feb. 28- Middle school field trip to the Capitol Feb. 29- AUCTION!! Don't forget to sign up for conferences. The link is below this post or I sent an email out to all parents...hopefully.    SWCC added a new criminal justice program.     Changing tires race  The girls won the race!!!

Hi all! Just updating you with pictures from Catholic Schools Week and somethings happening within the classroom. :)  Thanks to everyone who donated to our basket! I think they will be great. I will post pictures of the baskets and our silent auction item when done. Big shout out to Levi Evans for building our silent auction item!!  Reminder: Tuesday the 18th the 8th grade will be going to SWCC for career day.  Wednesday the 19th we don't have school due to PD Friday the 21st is a spirit day and the end of the trimester!  Be on the look out in the next week or so for a link to conferences. Parents,  The deadline for donations for the auction is this Friday! Anything is appreciated. Friday is a Spirit Day Students can bring Valentine's Day treats on the 14th if they would like. The 18th of February the 8th grade is going to Career Day at Swcc. More information to come. I will send out a permission slip sometime this week. The 19th of February we do not have school due to professional development. Classroom updates: 8th grade is just getting into their third novel, "The Hunger Games".  With this novel we are focusing on characterization. The 7th grade is reading "Night" by Elie Wiesel. They are focusing on several different aspects such as character development, analyzing dialogue, vocabulary, and much more. **Both the 7th and 8th grade are reading their novels off their Chromebooks. The AEA didn't have either novel available for rent. Sorry about that!** The 6th grade is working on their how-to speech. They will be presentin
