Hi all! Just updating you with pictures from Catholic Schools Week and somethings happening within the classroom. :)

Thanks to everyone who donated to our basket! I think they will be great. I will post pictures of the baskets and our silent auction item when done. Big shout out to Levi Evans for building our silent auction item!!

Reminder: Tuesday the 18th the 8th grade will be going to SWCC for career day.
Wednesday the 19th we don't have school due to PD
Friday the 21st is a spirit day and the end of the trimester!
Be on the look out in the next week or so for a link to conferences. (I can't believe that!!)
Saturday the 29th: THE AUCTION! Hope to see you there!!!

Daniel and Tucker did a great job being MCs!
So did Jagger and Makenna!

Spirit Day!

The kids at so much fun at Wellness Day at the Y!

The Y has these blow up balls you can get into and bumper car off of people. They were AWESOME!! We had so much fun tackling each other! :)

 Hi Hazin!! ;)
The 7th grade did a QR reading with their phones to give them background information on the Holocaust. They read "Night" as their first class novel.

The 8th grade is reading "The Hunger Games". We have done various activities and games to help them feel like they are part of the book. Below they are playing Hunger Games dodge ball!

The 6th grade was working on context clues here by playing "dominoes" with vocabulary.

I realized I never posted the finished product of the 6th grade's tall tale constructions. They did great!

And finally the serenade... in honor of Valentine's Day the 8th grade read Shakespeare's Sonnet 18. As a surprise to the girls, the boys got down on one knee with the poem in hand and chocolates. They read the poem to them. I must say it was the sweetest thing EVER! They were mortified. I naturally loved it. :) :)
