      Parents, please be sure your student is wearing a coat to school. There are a lot of students wearing sweatshirts. Just a reminder that students wait outside before school and have recess outside unless the windchill is below 0. Anything above zero the students are outside! Dates to keep in mind: Spirit Day: November 15th Spirit Day: November 22nd Spirit Day: November 26th and this day is also the Geography Bee No School: November 27-29 for Thanksgiving break! (Hard to believe, I know!!) I am a tad late but here are a few photos of Halloween fun! I loved our Area 51 idea. The kids really did a good job with their costumes. The 8th grade read "Lamb to the Slaughter" for their Halloween short story. I was able to create a pre-reading murder mystery activity for them that involved clues, QR codes, and different stations that involved literary standards such as grammar. This activity was a warm up or background information before they read the story. I think they
