 The 7th grade has been utilizing technology this week. Earlier this week they used their computers to be detectives in finding out if the Boston Massacre was an accident or premeditated. They had a “detective book” that they used to write down their evidence.  Now they are using their phones to scan QR codes to learn about the Boston Tea Party, another event that lead to the Revolutionary War.

I sent out an email last week.  Here's a look at what we are doing in class:   Kennedy is using a 3D pen to make an object for her art project  The 6th grade is working on their 3D poster of the Nile River 8th grade:   The 8th grade is going over the constitution. We are breaking it down by each branch. This week they are focusing on the legislative branch. They are currently in a simulation where the class was divided into the senate and hour of representatives. They are in committees where they are creating bills to become laws. In religion they are working on an essay about the 4 Marks of the Church. Dates to remember:  Oct. 7-Spirit Day Oct. 14- No School PD Day  A look at what's going on through pictures:   The 7th grade went on a scavenger hunt to learn about the 13 colonies   Because they learned about colonial times, they made corn husk dolls.  Some are a little creepy.   To start off October, the month of the rosary, all the middle school grades created  a nature rosary. They forged for the beads on the playground, in the Mary garden, and Father's yard. They only created a decade, but how cute are these?
